The third-party manager of a multi-supplier staffing program – typically (but not always) managing the VMS and all program suppliers. The various roles of the MSP within a program can vary significantly, but typically involve (at a minimum) the operation of the VMS, the distribution and processing of all job requisitions, management and payment of suppliers, reporting and analytics, operations (timesheets, milestones), and contract management and compliance.
